Nathan Douglas

Nathan Douglas began pursuing photography directly out of high school and began working as an assist to Las Vegas based photographers. Nathan studied photography at the College of Southern Nevada and is currently working as commercial and fine art photographer. In addition to photography, Nathan spends a majority of his time focused on writing screenplays and directing films.

Artist Statement

“True Stories” is a series that explores surreal moments in real life scenarios. I create the scene, define the story, and stylize the characters to exactly how I imagine them, then I capture the moment to last forever.

My passion is telling captivating stories through photography and video. My goal is to intrigue and fascinate those of whom I share these stories with, whether it is through sound, text, or visual imagery. I like photography as a medium to translate my thoughts and ideas, because it allows me to recreate what I see in my mind and share it with the world.
