ARTIST STATEMENT
My paintings are a reflection of my life and the lives of those close to me.
I create loose, fluid backgrounds before incorporating a figurative element, which
is partially woven into or under layers of paint. The result is often a human figure
caught up maelstroms of passionate energy and displayed in a sea of acrylics, metallics
and iridescences.
My paintings are often 6 by 4 feet across, which helps to give my subjects the drama and
impact they deserve.
