In “Time and Space” I document a broad range of landscapes and man-made spaces, from the peculiar to the mundane, all shot spontaneously over the course of five years.
Born in Newington, Connecticut, Brett began taking black and white photos at the age of 10. His early interest was in natural patterns, textures, and man-made objects. Largely self taught, he moved from black and white to color photography in the 80′s. His work began to take on a more photo journalistic aspect, with an emphasis on people, daily life, and city living. After leaving the software industry in 2002, Brett began to work on his photography full time.
Brett has lived and worked in Las Vegas since 1980. He has worked as a designer, graphic artist, photographer, programmer, and is the owner of the Brett Wesley Gallery in the Las Vegas Arts District.
